By any metric, this is the best first half of a Premier League season we have had - most wins, best goal difference (and the first time it's been positive) and most points.

Certainly the best half a season in my time as a supporter (55ish yrs). I'm genuinely disappointed we failed to beat a team that won the Premier league 6 and a half years ago. Away!!

Exceeded expectations by a country mile, given the change of coaching staff and World Cup players not always available. If we get top 6 it would be bonkers.

Sensational - more than we could ever have hoped for. Annoying thing about today - we could have gone ahead of Spurs and extended the gap further between us and Liverpool and Chelsea.

Europe is a real possibility, though I do think losing Trossard is a bigger blow than some are saying. We would really miss Mitoma should he get injured.

Also an oddity of a half season due to royal postponements in that we played Leicester and Liverpool twice (8 points from 12) - but have yet to play either Palace or Bournemouth.

Great idea, but pad it out a bit. His favourite description is ‘fantastic’ as in ‘the team they are fantastic, they play fantastic, the result is fantastic’

Add ‘no’ to any of the above.

Special mention to perv. Think he had big hair to fill but while he started a bit iffy he has started to become consistently strong at LB. Goes a bit under the radar and I think he’s got at least 3 assists.

Until we have a proper banner photo done then we should at least have 'We used to have a banner here, but Chelsea signed it for £40,000,000' imo

Indeed. 19 games is normally a really good benchmark. We may be doing even better than we think though, having not played Palace and Bournemouth at all. Added to your stats we've also taken three points from one game against Man U (away) and Chelsea (home).

Incredible season. Every chance of Europe people.

A- not much more we can do given the league and the money clubs spend. Exciting football and likeable players. Making silly money on player transfers too and bringing on more youngsters to do the same as we’ve done previously again hopefully.
