Albion Women vs Sheffield FC Ladies on Sunday at the Amex !

As the thread title says, Albion Women are playing Sheffield FC Ladies this Sunday at 1pm. Its their last home fixture and their playing at the Amex so I hope there'll be a big crowd to support them.

Tickets are available in advance from http://www.seagullstickets.com at Adults: £8, Over 65/Under 16: £4, Family of 4 (2 adults & 2 U16s) £20 and on the gate (Adults: £10, Over65/Under 16: £5) for the West Lower stand.

Does anyone know why this is already the last game of the season? Do they branch of into another league soon?

Does anyone know why this is already the last game of the season? Do they branch of into another league soon?

The women's league WAS previously a summer league, but has now been moved to a winter season. This meant that when the previous season finished, there was a huge (9 month?) gap, until the next.

To fill that void they created this 'Spring Series' mini-league thing. Its that which is about to finish, and the real season will start in August or something.

I THINK that's all about right.
