Got a big dilemma whether to see albion against shrewsbury (new ground) or go to see kings of leon standing with my house mate (never seen them before)!
will we be taking a good following do you reckon?
what would the rest of you choose?

COR, thats a toughie!

Id go Albion because Im not a great fan ok KoL (although I am warming to them)

What would be the cheeper/easier/more fun thing to do?

I'd go for seeing Kings of Leon personally. But then I have sky+ so would record the game and watch it when I got home.

Kings Of Leon are ok live. They're a manufactured stadium rock band doing what they do. There's no banter in between songs, they just knock them out well, one after the other.

Far more reliable than watching the Albion away though. You could probably get the first half in at a pub near the Brighton Centre.

i live in manchester so it wouldnt be on i dont think in many pubs! especially near men arena. they would roughly be same price as petrol and ticket price and food for albion and ticket price and alcohol for kings of leon so......
but i could sell my ticket for roughly 100 quid i reckon so might sell it and go and watch the albion at new meadow!

dont have sky plus or virgin. and the gig starts at 8! so its one or the other

If the gig starts at 8 then KoL won't start playing until a bit later - you could probably catch most of the match on the TV and be in time for KoL - just check the stage times before you go.
