* Albion are trying to borrow Dexter Blackstock from Championship rivals Nottingham Forest to give a further boost to their injury-hit strike force.
* Leroy Lita made his debut on loan from Swansea as a second half substitute in today's 0-0 draw at Yeovil.
* The Seagulls are trying to suuplement his arrival by landing Blackstock as well, The Argus can reveal.
* Top scorer Leo Ulloa, Craig Mackail-Smith and Will Hoskins are all sidelined by long-term injuries.
* Forest have a wealth of options up front and Blackstock, 27, is mulling over a move to The Amex. He has made only three appearances for the East Midlands outfit this season.
* Blackstock has scored 84 goals in 311 appearances for Forest, QPR, Derby, Plymouth and Southampton.
