Albion*captain Gordon Greer will be treading a disciplinary tightrope on his first home appearance for eight weeks.
The centre-half is a booking away from a ban against Birmingham at the Amex on Saturday.
Greer, pictured below, collected his fourth caution of the season on his comeback from injury at Burnley on Sunday.
Greer made an impressive return on his 200th league start for the Seagulls at Burnley after five-and-a-half-games out due to knee trouble, with Uwe Huenemeier (ankle) a late withdrawal.
Manager Chris Hughton said: “That’s Gord. He always does himself a favour because he trains very well, so he always gives himself a chance if he has been out and has to come back in.
“He’s got good fitness levels. It’s not a bad thing when you are bringing the captain back into the team.”
Albion have no other players on the brink of a ban 48 hours ahead of the cut-off. Gaetan Bong is also on four bookings but the left-back is sidelined until January by thigh damage.
