Chris Hughton is hoping Albion’s good week will not be tarnished by a serious injury blow.
David Stockdale was helped off in added time as the Seagulls beat Nottingham Forest last night – with defender Lewis Dunk having to take over in goal.
Hughton hopes the fact Stockdale could walk off, albeit with assistance, is a good sign as he waits for news on his goalkeeper.
The Albion boss said: “He is being assessed. He is certainly fairly sore at the moment.
“It is a whack on his lower shin but of course he was able to walk off so hopefully that is a good sign. But we shall know as soon as possible.”
Glenn Murray got off the mark in his second Albion stint with a second-half double.
Hughton said: “You know what Glenn can do in this division and we hope he can do that again.”
