Fans got on David Stockdale's back on social media after the Wigan defeat

Albion goalkeeper David Stockdale hit back at critics after the Wigan defeat.
Stockdale kept the Seagulls in the game just before half-time when they were 1-0 down by denying James McClean in a one-v-one.
James Perch forced in Wigan’s winner after Stockdale reacted to keep out a cross diverted towards his own net by Dale Stephens.

Some fans took to the internet to blame the Yorkshireman, who has had a mixed first season.The former Fulham keeper, responding on twitter on Saturday night, said: “Just asking some people why it’s my fault we lost? Is it sarcasm? When did I drop a clanger today?”
Other supporters leapt to Stockdale’s defence and he later thanked the fans who travelled to Lancashire.
