Albion are keeping tabs on Tranmere Rovers’ midfield prospect Max Power.
The Seagulls have been closely monitoring Power’s progress with the League Two strugglers, The Argus understands.
Rovers, managed by former Albion boss Micky Adams, have not received any bids so far for the highly-rated Power, who has also been linked with Swansea, Burnley, Derby, Celtic and Rangers.
The 21-year-old has scored ten goals for Tranmere this season, including eight in his last 14 appearances.
Albion are likely to watch Power again against Accrington Stanley tomorrow at Prenton Park, where the Seagulls’ development striker Shamir Fenelon is on loan.
