I have an item which may be of interest to the BHA Historical Society (sorry, can't remember the official title). Can anyone advise how I might get in touch with them? Thanks.:)

Thank you, Goldstone Rapper, I will give it a try.
As for what it is, Superphil, it's a framed photograph of W.Hayes. A friend of mine moved to the north of England in recent years and I try to combine visits to her with Brighton matches in the area. We often enjoy an evening meal in the local pub and the first time I went there, I knew that the omens were right for an Albion win as a photo of Billy Hayes, Brighton and Hove Albion F.C. 1920-21, was hanging on the pub wall.
Just recently, the pub changed hands and, guessing that refurbishment was likely, I asked my friend to keep an eye open for the photo. She's never one for being backward; she marched in there and asked what was going to happen to the picture and it was given to her...and then to me.
The inscription says, 'Billy Hayes was the uncle of Croxton resident Stephen Catterill. Hayes was born in Ecclestone, but spent most of his time in Croxton. As well as Brighton, he played for Preston North End, Stockport County and Accrington Stanley.'
