Sounds a lot but works out to around 60k a week. Less than the average of what the players are paid (65k).

Barber is arguably more important to the club than any of the players so it seems fair.
If Bloom thinks he’s worth 3m to the Albion then fair enough

Am I right in thinking that the amortisation is what we owe as part of player purchase? Amounts due on certain dates for those purchases?

And on a purely fan biased perspective, Palace owe £108 million??
Hi, not quite. Amortisation is the transfer fee spread over the contract life. So Joao Pedro for £30m on a five year deal is £6m a year accounting cost. My understanding is that the Albion paid the full fee up front too and got a discount as Watford were skint
