Last week I was on holiday in Wales and went to visit the world famous Ffestiniog railway. When our train turned up at Blanau Ffestiniog station I was pleasantly suprised to spot a footplate passenger on the loco wearing a black away Albion shirt. When I later spoke to the gentleman in question to congratulate him on his choice of attire, he informed me that the train driver was also an Albion fan. Just for a moment it felt like Albion fans were everywhere!

Now, I also drive steam locos back home in Kent on the Kent & East Sussex Railway, anyone know of any other Albion fans who drive steam locos for a job/hobby? How many of us puffer nutters can there be?

High up on the South Downs.
Can I nominate this as thread of the month. The idea of steam locos all across Britain being driven by Albion shirt wearing fans is great. Is this the real reason why Midland Mainline always have Albion fans in first class?

I was sitting in a bar one night in Gran Canaria wearing the stripes and some bloke came rushing up to me, shook my hand and bought me drinks all night.

I think he was gay.

Furthest from home I have seen an Albion striped shirt was Busch Gardens, Tampa in June last year. Didn't get to speak to the lad, as he was coming off a ride as I was getting onto one.
