Nicky Shorey will not be signing for Albion
* Nicky Shorey's trial with Albion has ended and he is now training with Championship rivals Millwall.
* The former England left-back featured in last Saturday's opening pre-season friendly at Whitehawk on Saturday under new head coach Oscar Garcia* but has parted company with the club ahead of next week's trip to Spain.
* Shorey, 32, had been training with the squad since the players reported back last month, before Oscar Garcia's appointment was confirmed.
* Albion are in urgent need of a left-back after Wayne Bridge moved to Reading and his understudy Marcos Painter was released.
