Albion under-21s coach Simon Ireland has completed his move to Queens Park Rangers.
Ireland has joined the Premier League strugglers as their head of coaching and coach education.
The Argus revealed on Christmas Eve that Ireland was leaving for Loftus Road.
The move was delayed while Albion agreed compensation with Rangers for Ireland, whose contract was due to expire in the summer.
Under-18s Simon Rusk coach has also taken caretaker charge of the under-21s while Albion recruit a permanent replacement.
