Adam Armstrong fires in a shot during Barnsley's 4-0 win over Wolves

/ Andy Naylor, Chief sports reporter

Boss Chris Hughton has warned a Yorkshire treble for Albion at the Amex is under threat after an “unbelievable” result for Barnsley.
The Seagulls have already seen off leaders Huddersfield and Rotherham at home in the Championship this season.
Barnsley try to end their stranglehold over clubs from the White Rose county today.
Hughton says the promoted Tykes’ thumping win in their last away game at Wolves proved their surge into fourth spot is no fluke.
He told The Argus: “For those that hadn’t taken too much notice of their early season form, certainly the 4-0 victory at Wolves would have been the one that made everybody stand up a bit. That’s an unbelievable result away from home.
“They are a newly promoted team, so people that know the Championship well and followed it last season would perhaps have been unaware of Barnsley. They won’t be now. They’ve had some very good results and they’ve deserved them.
“I see them very much as I saw Huddersfield. We had to wait until late in the game to score a fortuitous goal to win that one, even though we were the better side.”
Albion are only a point below Barnsley in seventh, despite not hitting the type of form yet which saw them miss out narrowly on promotion last season.
Hughton said: “Even in the Nottingham Forest game, where we ended up winning fairly comfortably, they were the better side for 20 to 25 minutes.
“At the moment we’re still trying to get our best level in regards to performance. We’ve conceded a few goals in recent games which have disappointed me but as long as we can stay in it. We’re still right up there within touching distance.”
