Anyone else watching the new versions on BBC? They stand up very well to the originals. Standouts so far for me are Kristin Scott Thomas’ antique dealer and Martin Freeman doing A chip in the sugar. I mean, COME ON! Superbly written and performed.
There’s a couple of new ones in there which I’m saving for the end.
I don’t think anyone will ever match Patricia Routledge, however these are really very special. I heartily recommend.
