Kemy Agustien helped Albion under-21s off the bottom of the table with a 0-0 draw at Bolton tonight.
The Dutch midfielder, sidelined from first team action since suffering an ankle injury at Leeds in August, played for 51 minutes of the match at the Lancashire FA's headquarters in Leyland.
His replacement, Charlie Harris, hit the inside of a post with a fierce half-volley nine minutes after coming on.
The result is enough to lift Simon Ireland's side off the foot of the Premier League Division Two table on goal difference above Stoke, who were beaten 3-1 at West Brom.
Albion (4-1-2-3): Doherty; Barry, Dallison, Barclay, Hunt; Toko; Agustien (Harris 51), Starkey; Fenelon, Kandi (Muitt 86), Cole. Subs not used: Smith, Wiltshire, Deen.
