after we have seen all the teams at this years tournament, who do u think will make it?

my hot contenders, still are italy. i know they havent played that good yet, but are a tough side to beat. and that's what you have to keep in mind...
very strong defense, good midfield and good choice of strikers. plus a manager/coach who is experienced and knows his game.

argentina played great so far, but usually those teams cant make it in the end. and they are south-americans, last time one of them won anything in europe was 1958...

so, i rule brazil out as well...

holland: might have a pop, quality team, might go a long way

england: didnt convince me at all. now without owen and rooney not 100% fit, i cant see them going through. player wise they should make the top 4

germany: still think we make the top 8, but then we're finished. too weak in defense and too unexperienced overall

portugal and spain: might both have a go, depends who they get in the next rounds. but def. 2 teams to watch

the others are outsiders for me, incl. france, who are shocking so far...

Holland.

Holland have always been better than England, thought this year would be an exception but we are diabolical. It is about time Holland one a World Cup.

Argentina for me. They have just looked different class.

Argentina and Germany are the two teams that have impressed me the most, but as they meet in the quarters, that lets in someone from the other side of the draw, the inevitable Brazil or Holland the best of the dark horses over Spain/Portugal.

Don't think Italy can stop the winner of Argies/Germany game.

I agree with Argentina, but I think Italy could beat the Germans. I know they have home advantage, but lets not forget they have had an easy group.

Argentina looked class.

germany, typical workmanlike, but untipically showed flair.

Italy - dark horse

Spain - still class

England - capable of beating any side out there, but injuries will take their toll.

Holland - very classy, but Robben pisses me off with his constant diving

Brazil - very dissapointing. They need to play more non- european based players

Final I would like to see Argentina vs Italy ( not sure if the draw allows it)

Bit of luck and it could still be a England vs Germany final

If the Czech's can beat Italy tomorrow to finish top they have a fairly simple run to the Semi's and then anything can happen!

Can you tell I have money on them?! :dunce:

England - Injury's will force a change of formation to 4 5 1 and we'll go from strength to strength.

If we'd strolled the group stage the hype would've got out of hand and the expectations would've been too high. I honestly believe we have the players who can beat any team thats put in front of us from Sunday onwards.
