He isn't going to play for Spurs, and can't sign permanently for anyone else - so why not loan him to a Championship club (who may be prepared to pay £20k odd of the £100k a week that Spurs are going to have to pay him for doing nothing for the rest of his contract)?

David Sullivan was on the radio yesterday saying they made an initial approach about taking Adebayor to West Ham, but didn't follow it up as "he is very expensive".

If he's too expensive for West Ham, I think we can safely say he is a little out of our financial bracket.
