Absolute rubbish

There were a few clubs after him at the time we bought him. The reason he chose us was cos we said he'd be a first team regular. McGhee didn't play him and spent most of the season telling anyone who would listen how much we needed a striker, which must have done wonders for his confidence.

Saying he didn't want to stay at Brighton is not disrespecting the club, it's just stating fact. Every interview i've read he's always made it clear his grievance was with McGhee, not the club.
