I think the only option is to keep him, support him and hopefully he will turn it around. He has only just brought in some new signings, they will take a few games to bed in.

But more to the point what do we gain from sacking him? Another DK trial by manager? The potential serious breakdown of the board and the final emergence of the Blooms as the real controllers of the club? The fact we will be paying three managers all at once and therefore the new manager will have absolutely no money to spend especially on the coaching staff who are already non league.

Nope keep Adams, but get rid of Booker and White and give him a proper budget to get in some decent coaching/backroom staff. Losing the superb coaching ability of Wilkins was a hammer blow, and that hasn't been replaced. Adams needs help on this side of things in the same way that Wilkins should have got more help and understanding from DK with regards his player/chairman(!) management skills.

Point of principal, if you are going to post options please post them alphabetically not in the order that you want to win! MORI would be turning in their grave!!!

I completely agree with Giraffe, plus who the hell are we going to get who is any better, at this stage! IN.

Welcome, relative newbie. Always good to have some more sensible posters. And great user name too. I loved Chris Cattlin with a passion. I would have him back just to do the post match interviews, really top drawer.

When Adams was here first time he advertised for a member of his back room staff and unless I am wrong John Byrne applied, being the coach of one of the young teams, u14s or similar, but was overlooked for Dean White who got the job. When he came back this time he re-appointed Bob Booker who had been sacked and paid off previously by the club. So in effect BB and DW are his choices so how can DK sack them without MA approval. I believe the onus is on MA to decide they are not doing the job he wants or otherwise and then act on that decision. As I said earler if they fail he fails or he may dispose of them and bring in somebody else.

Fair comment, although none of us know what budget he was given for his coaching staff. He probably should now be asserting to DK that he needs to spend more money and get some good back up in instead of those two clowns.

I'm afraid it has to be OUT. This is not a bad squad of players, but tactically we are shit. It's not just team selection, which is appaling, but we haven't got a clue with free kicks either, just what the f*** do they do everyday in training? Even a poor team can be well organised by a half decent manager and unfortunately we haven't got one.

I have to agree with you on the free kick front. WHilst I still think Adams should stay there is no question that our free kicks are absolute shit. I guess my only question would be is that Adams fault or should Booker and White share some of the responsibility? I suspect in a lot of clubs it is not the manager that coaches all set pieces.

Fai enough, but surely it is his responsibility to ensure he has coaches that are up to the job. If they are crap, get rid!

Adams is not the manager he was before - and I agree that BB and DW are his choices and they all fail together.

Where else other than BHA would anyone put up with it.

DK arranged this and should pay the price but he is very silent lately

Any truly sensible person on here would surely take a medium to long term view with regard to managers. We seem to be in an age that demands instant everything and here that seems to include success. Alex Ferguson was nearly hounded out of Man Utd in his first few years but they stuck with him and its paid off. We all loved Mickey Adams when he was first here and he hasn't suddenly become a bad manager. Give the guy at least two seasons before asking if he should go.

Adams is leading us to relegation, if it was any other club in this situation he would've been long gone. What will it take for him to be given the sack?
