Adams refutes spherical earth THE ARGUS ONLINE
Seagulls boss Mickey Adams today denied that contrary to popular opinion the earth is not round.
When quizzed earlier about the claims of Eratosthenes of Cyrene, Aristotle and many others, Adams stated that as far as he was concerned the earth was flat and he had been brought in to prove just that.
He went on to add that although there were some people who had said that there was conclusive proof that Christopher Columbus had sailed to the Americas and had not fallen over a precipice, he was convinced that come May 2nd his beliefs would have become realised amongst the Albion faithful.
