I was driving eastbound this afternoon and the queues on looked horrendous going westbound

I wonder what this might be like on Sunday morning? I'd be aiming to get to Portslade about 11am on Sunday.

Coming from Hampshire a thought I had was to come off the a27 a bit earlier at Clapham and head up the a24 there, then round through Steyning etc which is the diversion anyway.

What's the Upper Shoreham Road like? Need to get to St Nicolas Lane by the Red Lion for about 12ish

It is going to be nightmare for next few weeks.

Detour from Worthing up to Findon, Washington and then past Steyning.

I think coast road though, despite the jams will be quicker.
