I am confident that this was on of the alternatives put forward in jest on a thread to speed departure from WSU! Truth is indeed stranger than fiction.

I have always maintained that the biggest obvious fault at The Amex is the stairs, they should have been escalators that can be reversed to allow people to enter or leave as per The Bernabau which empties in minutes and can be turned off and used as stairs in an emergency if needed. Not sure how much that would have added to the costs if installed on all raised areas though.
