A Fund-Raising Idea

I noticed that the 1988 Wimbledon vs Liverpool FA Cup Final teams played each other in a fund-raising effort for AFC Wimbledon yesterday.

Could it be that we can persaude the '83 Cup final teams from both sides to hold a fund-raiser at Withdean? Pay on the gate, there are enough Man Utd as well as Albion fans in the area that I'm sure would welcome a game like this?

AFC Wimbledon had over 3,000 turn up, I'm sure we could fill Withdean with this if it was priced right?

That would be fun, the cup final was before i was born so it would be cool to be able to watch the re-match so to speak.

Hey, good idea Seagull 73. Perhaps this time someone could crock Whiteside.

Can't see it happening though, don't we lose money on every match played at Withdean. It would be a pointless fund-raising exercise.
