It's easy to say the next game is massive, they are all massive from here on in, but with the next three games all being away from home, I think we need a absolute minimum of 4 pts from them, 5 would be good, 6 excellent and anything over 6 and I think we are a shoe in for the play offs. Less than 4 and it's time to worry again.

I think 8 points would be an excellent return

I reckon:

Bristol City 3
Bolton 1
Palace 3
Barnsley 3
Forest 1
Charlton 3
Leicester 1
Boro 0
Posh 3
Blackpool 3
Leeds 3
Wolves 3

So 24 points I reckon we can get.

OMG! i did this as fairly as i could and the table looked like:

Cardiff 96
Hull 85
Watford 82
Us 81
Scum 77
Leicester 73

Surely not

Shit, I don't want to face Palace in the play-offs :nono:

My latest season end prediction:-

1 Cardiff City (1) 95
2 Hull City (2) 85
3 Watford (3) 83
4 Crystal Palace (4) 81
5 Leicester City (5) 77
6 Brighton & Hove Albion (6) 74
7 Middlesbrough (7) 70
8 Nottingham Forest (8) 67
9 Leeds United (9) 67
10 Bolton Wanderers (10) 63

(current positions in brackets - and no change is predicted)

Reasonable except for Bolton I think. Just looking at their next 8 there's a pretty good argument for them winning them all, but that would mean 11 straight wins and that doesn't happen does it?

Bloody prediction calculators -
Maybe I have been overly pessimistic but with one game of the season left to go, I have us 2 points behind Boro in 7th.
Last games are us at home to Wolves and Boro away to Wednesday.
I have assumed both Wolves and Wednesday are safe from the drop.
I have us down for a nervy 3 points from Wolves
I actually can't predict an outcome to Wednesday/Boro......so that was a wasted 5 minutes of my life wasn't it.

Is it actually possible to get 8 points from 3 games? I don't think it is.

I think that's the joke.

The next 5 games are dodgy, 2 games away against in form teams looking to take out place in the playoffs (Bolton and Forest), 1 game away at a team very good at home currently (Bristol) and our only home game against a good Palace side albeit they struggle on their travels, last match aside, which judging by the highlights they were extremely fortunate to win.

If we are still within a few points of the playoffs after those games I'd be a lot more confident of us making it.

Using the BBC score predictor, I had us 5th, Palace 7th (tee hee), I do think they have a harder run in than us. Hull will play Leicester and we'll play Middlesbro in the playoffs! Barnsley, Bristol C and Sheff Wed relegated.
