Derby County won the league by a single point from 3 other teams

Cloughie was their manager and who'd have thought just months later he'd be our manager!

nice little read for posters of a certain age and a short interview with the great man

before I get out my bingo card for the posters that will remind us football was shit back then

just remember, in 50 years time fans will be saying how shit the football is now

excluding the masterclass class dished up at the Amex yesterday obviously

No time for the man.
He took the piss out of Brighton, big time.
At least Taylor had the decency to stick around and give something to the club, thus laying some of the foundations for future success.

He took the p*** out of his next employers mighty Leeds even more, gone in 44 days.

Anyone interested in Clough and Taylor's stint here needs to read Bloody Southerners by Not Andy Naylor

Absolutely brilliant book on the subject.
