Sorry but those rock fans are f'ing morons.

What's wrong with diversity? The scheduling may not have been correct, you may not like the music (I love hip-hop but not Fiddy or G-unit), but this is just childish sh1t. Go watch someone else and leave the area for people who perhaps did want to see the performance.

It's by showcasing different styles of music at places such as Glastonbury that my musical tastes have been expanded and I'm glad of that. Reading also showcased awesome hip-hop acts J5, Roots, Ty and Roots Manuva but such diversity is in threat of being undermined by dicks like this.

Reading has show decent acts before but more underground Hip-Hoo, 50 Cent is a chart topping shitebag the same as when Daphne & Celeste (they also got bottled off stage). They deserve everything they get and this 50 Cent bloke is a grade A up his own arse looser and his management should've known better than to send him to a predominantly Rock/Metal act Festival.

Bollox Crabtree. Reading must've invited his management company into negotiations. Considering the other hip hop on show why should they think his act not worthy of performing.
predominantly Rock/Metal afterall

Regarding 50 Cent, I don't like him, his overated rhyming or what he stands for but bottling him for just turning him up is rubbish. If he'd been utterly cr@p live (as many acts can be) fair play for a response but this is shite.

OK fair enough if the organisers asked him, that means they asked Daphne & Celeste...meaning they must've known what would happen to them so therefore they are taking the piss...GENIUS thinking! :lolol:

I liked daphne and celeste.

'ooh stick you
your momma too
(and yo daddy!)'

U-g-l-y
you aint got no alibi
Yo ugly
yo ugly.

I think we can all agree that these are lyrics that get to the very root of the human condition.

I was going to mention when these two got booed off stage at Reading in 1999. Now that was deserved. Just who in their right mind actually thought it would be a good idea to send these two pre-pubescent yanks to a festival?

As I recall they got about two lines into "ooh stick you" before the shower of piss-filled bottles became too much for them and they were quickly ushered off by security.

Now that was comedy

I was there when it happened and it should be said the slightly rappy Streets went down quite well a few hours before.
