If Wilkins decides that he only needs 4 forwards at the club (hipafetikal like )
Which one or two of our boys might be classed as surplass to requirements.

Forster is 1 so perm 3 from the following :

i think gatts can still contribute something to the team, certainly more than robinson imo as i just really cant see jake fitting in the team

ive never seen elder play, and if he wasnt good enough to get a run when we were DIRE then i would go for him and gatting

I think that Wilkins will start with Savage and Forster and have Elder first change for Savage if he does not start firing on all cylinders.

Robinson and Gatting may find themselves in the stiffs for long periods next season. Robinson does though give us options - wide or dropping off - but Gatting is more in the Savage / Elder mould.

I'd loan Elder out because I think he can be a useful asset

Jake needs to go IMO, if we fit him in the team anymore we will not be playing to full capacity because he only plays well when Cox plays well.

I would Keep Gatting, Get rid of Robinson and see how Savage does until Xmas.

May have a lot of forwards on the books however still could find Wilkins needing another at Xmas.

I think Bas could be the one to go... there seems to have been quite a few stories linking him to other teams recently. Robinson is the only one with pace out of that lot, so he offers an option none of the others can give.

Wouldn't be surprised if we cashed in on Revell too... $100k or so

Revell and Savage should def stay, I think Elder, Gatting and Robinson should all get their chance pre - season and the best one stay. The other two loaned out with an immeadiate recall clause, and just constantly review it

FFS... we have just signed the experienced forward that we have been looking for for years... part of his role will be to support the development of our younger forwards... we should not do anything other than loan-out his understudies, IMHO... no sales!

oh yeah, forgot about that

in that case we should definently keep him. if he can get past the might of jack hewitt then he can get past anyone

I do not think any of them will go anywhere on a permanent deal.

Robbo always starts the season well, so I think he'll be a natural starter up front with Forster or Savage.

It's too early on in pre-season to speculate who is going to play where...after all, someone could have a storming pre-season and then you cannot possibly leave them out of the first team.

Forster of course, then be Revell with him, id think then properly mix it up depending on the opposition eg elder or Savage, and i would think Gatting will find much harder to be given a chance but i think Wilkins does rate him, i think most likely he will send him out on loan for the year to a league 2 side and see how he does, or a league one side if we can. I think Robinson is a waste of space in my opinion, sometimes looks good and then absolute rubbish, i think he thinks he really is something special, but he isnt consistant at all, i do dislike his attitude as well sometimes doesnt seem to care, i think best as a winger but i dont think for the question which one be sold, i dont think he will with any of them, elder is defo going to get more time, looks promising, and Robinson really has to do it this year or he will be sold, you could tell Wilkins getting frustrated with as end of year dropping him from the side entirely.
