I couldnt believe it, still accom and flights paid for, so no alternative.
The worst part is the test match will probably be over in three days, anyone else going?

A Friend at work was quoted a similar price. Why not take your chances in the $10 enclosure with the locals? Far more fun than being stuck with loads of Brits in the 'posh seats'.

A word of advice...

Three years ago i went to Sri-Lanka and decided to take my chance and buy tickets out there. I met up with some lads from Middlesex at the hotel who had bought their tickets from a travel centre in England for the first 3 days and paid £125.00 per day (it did include lunch a chicken sandwich and a flat coke)

When we arrived at the ground i was relieved to see i could pay at the gate ( hole in the wall ) and the price 20 rupees about 12p!! You can guess the reaction form the lads from Middlesex who were in the same stand!
