With the greatest of respect to you, I think very few people on this forum are aware of the link between this incident and the death of a young Palace fan.
We ll respected, cheers, The guy was a complete moron and the same goes to the Palace fan who instigated this.

That's because there is no link. It's just Palace fans, shamefully, trying to use the death of a fan to claim the moral high ground in the whole 'Cantona' affair. Don't let them.

Long live King Eric!

Can you explain? I don't really want to sing "oh arrrr, eric cantona" on Tuesday, if there's something in this!

The next time Palace played Man U a young Palace fan tragically lost his life, I believe he was run over by the Man U coach, but I could be wrong in that detail. Palace claim he would still be alve today if it hadn't been for the Kung Fu incident, which is pushing the laws of Cause and Effect well past breaking point.

I am disappointed in the Eric claims that be the favourite moment of his playing career considering what he has won :/

Seems a bit of a loose canon and almost died laughing when i read he is trying to be in the running to be the next president of France.

There may be a link, as far as I am told by some Palace supporting friends a confrontation occurred at a bus station between the 2 sets of fans in the next game after the incident and it was all over the Cantona incident, tempers flared and a teenage fan was pushed under a bus. The situation was made worse in the next few years after the event by Man U fans declaring Cantona Day and turning up at Selhurst wearing Cantona masks in the knowledge that the incident with the bus was over the Kung Fu kick.

As I said, this is what I'm led to believe, I have no proof whatsoever if the link is genuine but being as the incident involves a death of a teenager over football I personally tend to steer clear of it when the subject arises.
