On 15th April 1981we were in deep trouble in the relegation zone at the foot of DIV 1 (The old premier for you youngsters). Four games to go and this is what happened:-


Palace AWAY WON 3-0
Leicester HOME WON 2-1
Sunderland AWAY WON 2-1
Leeds HOME WON 2-0

Every game a 'must win', we won them all and we survived by 2 points.


Aston Villa won the league and Ipswich were runners-up.


Those were worrying days but we pulled through. Let's get behind the team on Tuesday and have a great night.
