Was it people hacked off because the normal Brighton services couldn't get to the damn bus stop?

Yes buses and train times were loooong so a nice chap driver said he'd drop a bunch of people of on his designated route (palace pier)

I was waiting for a 23 for 20 mins and ended up getting a shuttle to the Steine. I got home just as the 23 pulled into the stop opposite my flat.
