Doing this has actually cheered me up a bit. I really wouldn't want to be a Cardiff fan with their run in.

As well as playing us at our place at some point they have...

Wolves A
West Ham H
Chelsea H
Man City H
Burnley A
Liverpool H
Fulham A
Palace H
Man U A

OUCH!

Apart from Liverpool, United and City do any of those teams have much to play for? I think playing teams down the bottom at this time of the season is a much much tougher ask.

Our home games mostly look like home bankers I absolutely guarantee it won’t pan out like that given our inabilty to close games out. The best we can hope for is late winners because if we take the lead early on, we will sit on it and invite pressure. Gonna be a rollercoaster imo

Record low points total (?) keeps us up from my ultra-pessimistic attempt:

13 Crystal Palace 42
14 Everton 41
15 Burnley 40
16 Southampton 37
17 Brighton 33
----------------------------------
18 Cardiff 31
19 Huddersfield 20
20 Fulham 19

I think we are at that point in the season when we can start having a go at predicting the last 10 or 11 fixtures we have left to play. You can pick which teams you want to predict and see what the table will look like. Be interesting to see peoples predictions and how they rate our chances of staying up.

Also have us staying up in 17th, four points clear of Cardiff in the last relegation spot.

Basically, it looks like us or Cardiff to go down with Fulham and Huddersfield - a battle we should win on just very average home form...hopefully.??

I predicted the results for the five clubs above Fulham and came up with;
14 Palace 42
15 Brighton 39
16 Burnley 38
17 Southampton 32
18 Cardiff 31
19 Fulham 23
20 Hudds 15

I had already predicted that it was between Cardiff and Southampton and I can't see that changing. Until after this weekend.

17 Southampton 38 -24 32
18 Cardiff 38 -42 28
19 Fulham 38 -56 17
20 Huddersfield 38 -48 14

...didn't expect that!

Not sure you have done it right - our GD should be higher, but i guess that's why we aren't in the top 4, can't score enough goals.

So based on many people's predictions for Cardiff's points total, we just need to win on Saturday and that's it done.

Lovely stuff.
