A Bruce fan fan here,yet ticks all of most of Euro boxes :)facepalm:) yet way do we offer up so much No Sellers in the way of way of a tune ? This will be all europe within minutes an danced all away all night.

We will.

We don't have to qualify as we are one of the 'Big 5' who pay for most of it.

After that though, we've obviously even less chance than usual for the obvious reason. I suspect we could resurrect Freddie Mercury and David Bowie, and have them duet on top of a piano played by Elton John and we'd still come 23rd at best this year.

our entry isnt too bad this year, not a winner (need a gimmick, something different) but should get a respectable score.

Is that not the Irish entry ?

Always been a big Eurovision fan. Not so much since it went all political.

Although it could argued Franco started that in 1968.

Don't think so, I don't think they've announced theirs yet.

In any case, the Westlife song was written by Ed Sheeran, which means it isn't eligible to be the Irish entry - the writer(s) of the song have to be from the nation it's representing.

The nationality of the artist doesn't matter, hence Katrina (American) & The Waves winning for us and Celine Dion (Canadian) winning for Switzerland.
