With this lot in charge might be worth giving this some thought.

I am going to start with

a) Bicycles (plus puncture repair kits) and Horses. Only long term means of getting around.
b) Pencils. We will need to start writing again and I will be starting the first privateer postal service. First class will cost a can of corned beef.

Your additions please (max 2 each) and then we can all start planning...

I guess they'll be no need for people to point out you can't have a post apocalyptic world.

On the Border
1) basement full of bottled water
2) a large supply of tinned food

Alternatively hope I die when the first bomb falls

What is all this scaremongering? Jesus wept. Everyone just calm down a bit.

We've a match on Saturday!

Don't want to survive the Bomb. Just imagine living in a world full of Mutant knuckle dragging creatures. Oh, I've just described a scene from Selhurst Park.

On opening this thread, I got a Google Ad for a Portable Pet Car Seat:

How could you possibly survive in a Mad Max wasteland without one of those?

Also, if this question has been asked because of topical events, the most useful thing you'll need in a post apocalyptic world will be one of these:

Should be dated Saturday.

To quote the Newtown Neurotics "When the Oil Runs Out":

"What are you gonna do when cycling becomes a strain?"
And you need a drop of 3-in-1 on your bicycle chain?"

Now you're talking, but how am I going to play my copy of 'Kickstarting A Backfiring Nation'?

Altogether now 'Look At The Mess I'm In!'

Slight alteration on yours:

1) Basement full of Vintage Champagne.
2) A large supply of Heinz Baked Beans.

All I need to avoid is farting and creating a second nuclear cloud :moo:
