Picking up my Guardian this morning for a well written, well researched, balanced, informed and objective read over fruhstuck I see Liam is on board this season for a weekly column.

Is it? As It wont be read by so many people. Is it not the aim of journalists to be read by as many as possible?

Calling Dr. No

There's nothing wrong with populist writing and aiming for a large audience, but equally there's nothing wrong with writing for a specialist publication either.

By your argument BG the only football stories in the press should be about Manchester United....Oh.

I've done a little circulation ranking and pasted it badly on here. It's interesting but ignores online readership.

As I'm somehow in the Daily Star today I couldn't possibly comment.

The rate at which the qualities are nicking good columnists, there'll only be you, her and HB&B left

*edit* With Kelvin and Piers in charge it would be quite the little dream team !

No, and he can write in a way that becomes the intelligence of the man- and have it appreciated. Good for him.

The paper I most enjoyed working for was the Independent on Sunday, which was read by about five people and bought by even fewer. Good for Liam, although being interviewed by a Palace fan - albeit one of the nicest people in journalism - must have been challenging.

.
Hughton, who signed Rosenior after he was released by Hull in 2015, encourages his team to select their own leadership group of five senior players, with Rosenior duly joining Steve Sidwell, Lewis Dunk, Sam Baldock and the captain, Bruno, on the committee. “We discuss how we train or travel, even what we should wear or should be eating. It creates accountability. People see their decisions make a difference and we don’t have any excuses if things go badly. We can’t turn around and say we weren’t prepared.”

Good article I thought. Like this bit, gives an insight to CHs methods. Very good to get the players to take some responsibility for themselves.
