Summer fair game ideas please?

At the end of the month I'm running a stall at a charity event
and have been tasked with coming up with a game that is low-cost,
does not require lots of equipment (for carriage), is fun and will appeal to all ages.

Last year I did the same and opted for a golf putting thing - but it was
murder resetting the balls all the time and the ground was sh*t and not as
flat as I'd hoped. So - ideally a game that is not played across the ground.
I have a plot around 9ft by 9ft.

Any ideas from the great and good of NSC?
(guess the cake weight is off the agenda - I can't bake cakes to
save my life. So too coconut shy - ) .

Not sure it fits your area, but tin-can alley or Crockery smash always a hit at a summer fayre for me!

The easiest one is Tombola with tickets ending in a 0 or 5, being winners. You may need to collect lots of different bottles (shampoo, wine, shower gel, jam etc) and stick raffle tickets on them, but it's easy to organise.

Do you have a prize budget? Saw something at a village fete in Cornwall the other year where they had a giant foam dice and six people took a number each for a £1 each. Dice was then thrown and then the winning number won a bottle of wine. Lots of people interested and having bought the wine in bulk probably brought in £4 profit per game so with a game every couple of minutes it was a real money spinner. Of course, you can amend the stake / prize to your budget and only takes a small space.
