Got to be a Cardiff defeat i reckon with their run in. A draw would be ok, a Cardiff win would make things pretty messy in the scrap...

Very hit and miss. Funnily enough those that I did get with were evertonians. Almost to man the reds were absolute cocks.
One such evertonian became rnas Yeovilton station warrant officer, lovely chap.

If you say Scouser I automatically think of the red side of Stanley Park, not the blue.

The girl I knew was drafted abroad and left her big blue teddy bear in my safekeeping. He was called Scouse.
Seriously I liked both sides of the city & always good for a laugh.

So what effect do we think that result has on the game tomorrow....if any?

Citeh seeing the scousers win again puts pressure on or distracts them?

Or does it fuel their desire to win the next day, even if it is in the cup?

Or are their players all very professional and it has no effect whatsoever on the game tomorrow...

Thoughts?

Could it influence Guardiola, in resting any key player with a knock, so they’re fit for Smellhurst.

Well it wouldn’t have cheered them up tonight as they went second. Hopefully there will be some sort of distraction as they worry about getting their top place back rather than beating us tomorrow.

They are defending their Premier League title, so the pressure is on them. Tuesday night's game is massive for them & they've already won a cup, so tomorrow might not be uppermost in their minds.
Having said that, we'd still need a big slice of luck to beat them, but you never know.
