We all know it will only be enforced changes due to injury I cannot understand why so many people are suggesting dropping Bong as tomy mind he hasn't done anything wrong and many things well in the last few games.

No need for Locadia on the bench, and either March or Gross should be. On form, not both. Kayal has not put a foot wrong with us all season, his absence from the squad is ridiculous when we're playing 4-3-3. Bissouma for Stephens is debatable but for me, Stephens keeps the shape very well and if there were better options going forward - he'd be able to make more forward passes. I think Kayal's tenacity and bite in the tackle will be crucial, Bissouma also offers that but I think Kayal's experience should get him the nod.

Because, in the opinion of those posting, Bernardo is a better option.

I actually agree with you that Bong has done little wrong in the last few games, but I expect us to have the majority of possession on Saturday, and particularly as an attacking force, Bernardo offers more.

I was thinking along these lines, but we know that Stephens will play as he is the best holding midfielder we've got.

I also think having the Bruno/Knocky tie up on the right would make sense for this game, also the tie up of Bernardo/Izquierdo on the other side would make sense as both are quick and (if needed to) can communicate with each other in Spanish!

However we know the only change from the first 11 from Tuesday will be Bissouma for Gross. As we played well and on another day we would have got something out of the game etc etc etc

What concerns me most is the inevitable collective groans when the team is read out pre-match tomorrow. We all KNOW who is starting but it won't stop us all getting the hump when it is confirmed.

Won't do the team on the pitch any confidence favours. But if Hughton refuses to make the obvious changes it can't be helped.

I'm pretty sure the only change will be the enforced one.

However I have a horrible feeling that Locadia might come back in on the left/right which means I will be looking at my phone with baited breath when the announcement comes through.
