Don’t get me wrong, it’s awful!

You never know though, I used to loathe synth. Now, I can’t get enough. I can listen to synthwave all day long.

For some decent South East Asian pop check out Cambodia's surf/psychedelic rock artists from the 60s / 70s. It's got a classic Tarantino soundtrack feel to it. There's also a tragic poignancy to this genre as most of the artists were killed by the Khmer Rouge.

This track's by Ros Sereysothea who went missing in 1977 aged 29.
