I'm surprised that Mr Pozzo doesn't move the figures around, like his players, given the merry go round that goes on between them Udinese and Granada

It's based on last year's accounts, they had a lower wage bill and income was similar so just sneaked ahead. Having seen the sale brochure for the club recently the asking price is far lower as relegation is now factored in.

I believe wages are a decent gauge for predicting where a team will finish.

Any indication this trend has continued this season? Or will our wages plateau at the current level?

I expect them to rise this season, new contracts for D&D, Jahanbaksh & the other signings will be on a decent wedge too.
