2 to 3 hours a day on average. Some days I do very little but other days, I'll do 4 hours.or more. The last few months I've made more profit from casino offers than sports offers and these are more time-consuming but can be done any time night or day.

Another bounce - I had an email out of the blue from Profit Squad and decided to jump in. Could do with a little bit of help if anyone's up for it:

I signed up with Ladbrokes and bet £10:

16/03/19 16:00 Olympique Lyonnais v Montpellier HSC - Olympique Lyonnais
B: £-0.24 E: £-0.24
£10.0 @ 1.5 Ladbrokes
£10.27 @ 1.51 Betfair Exchange

What do the 'B' and 'E' stand for?

That £10 bet then got me three free £10 bets. I have pumped more money than I would like into Betfair following the instructions on the profit Squad website. You only get the free £10 bet if you bet £10, so the amount you have to lay at Betfair gets pretty high.

My three 'free' bets were taken from the oddschecker at the bottom of the 'hot to' page. Because I was lumping so much money into Betfair i was restricted to laying with them.

12/03/19 16:50 4:50 Cheltenham - Springtown Lake
B: £-1.88E: £-1.93
£10.0 @ 11.0 Ladbrokes
£8.49 @ 13.0 Betfair Exchange

That seems to me to be a guaranteed loss, is that right? Would it have been better to just lump the free £10 on at 11.0 for a possible upside with no downside? Surprised if so, i would have thought Profit Squad would have alerted me to that. I did my best to follow the instructions to the letter. I also didn't take advantage of any profit boost options, again because I was following the instructions exactly, should I have?

The next two seem to me to guarantee a profit, is that right?

12/03/19 17:30 5:30 Cheltenham - Discorama
B: £7.53 E: £7.55
£10.0FB @ 7.0 Ladbrokes
£7.95 @ 7.6 Betfair Exchange

12/03/19 14:10 2:10 Cheltenham - Kalashnikov
B: £8.10 E: £8.13
£10.0FB @ 9.0 Ladbrokes
£8.56 @ 9.4 Betfair Exchange

Will have a look at Profit Squad website - I'm REALLY dumb when it comes to any level of complexity in betting whatsoever, so hope I can understand it.
I'm the same ...how did you get on?

How did these work out?

The second 2 look correct, the first one does too as long as you used the free bet and not £10 cash. B and E would stand for Bookie and Exchange. Don't forget that you do not have to place your free bets all at once, so you don't need as much money in the exchange (assuming the bets lose) if you are worried about putting all your money in one place.

Edit: Actually the first one is wrong - you have calculated using Normal Bet and not Freebet. The correct lay amount would be a bit less than that. PM me if you have any other questions if you like.

As KZN has said above the first one is using the "Normal" bet type on the calculator - if its a free bet you need to use the "Freebet" option and a profit of £7.33 after betfair commission would have been made.

Don't worry about boosts to start with just concentrate on getting the basics right. Watch the videos on the website they really help. I have been with PS for nearly 2 and a half years and I still couldn't be without the calculator and I still make mistakes sometimes but its worth sticking with and slowly learning all the basics.

Hi,

Overall, have you done well out of Profit Squad over that time?

Thanks both - you're right, I did the bet correctly, and just got the data wrong. Each of those three Ladbrokes bets made me about £8 each.

What I have done wrong is get involved in too much to quickly, opening too many accounts in one day (four bookies, two exchanges) and then losing track of things a bit. I've got a few bets out to be settled over the next couple of days, then I'll play through the free bets, and then take stock.

What I also did wrong is get a £20 fee casino bet on one of the casino deals. Should have played through that at the lowest stake possible, following the blackjack strategy, then roll it on to other things. Instead I misunderstood the shitty website, went all in on the £20 first hand and lost. Ah well. Made up for it just about elsewhere I think but lesson learned to avoid the casino deals.
