Wasn’t there something with Sturridge about him not really being injured, just psychologically not ready to play.
Now he needs a new contract, undoubtedly he will now claim to be in the best fitness of his life.
I do have a sneaky suspicion that someone will get a fair bit of football and a few goals from him. It won’t be us though.
