52% win ratio after 50-odd games managing Sevilla. Fired in March for losing a Europa League tie. Quoted as saying that he leaves recruitment to other people, he just coaches what he’s given...
Turned it down apparently. Says he "can't work miracles". Think he was looking for an excuse TBH...

Emery left Sevilla in 2016 to manage PSG. Machin was something like the 4th manager they've had since Emery left. His record at Sevilla looks fairly decent 50% win rate, sacked after being knocked out of Europa League, which looks a fairly harsh sacking to be honest. They are 6th and still in with a chance of finishing 4th going into the final day of the season over in Spain (although they were 5 points off of 4th when Machin was sacked).
I know nothing of him but he has managed in Spain therefore he has to be flair.
