Was this Coppell's last game in charge for us before Bob Booker took over ?
If my memory serves me correct , our next game was away at Bmuff with Booker in charge and we lost 1-0.

That was one my few visits to the Withdean. Came down from Sheffield with my then girlfriend who was a Blackpool fan and met a mate who'd got us tickets for food and beer before and after.

She had a stinking cold and basically had a totally miserable time. I didn't.

We split up a few months later.

I remember this game well.

We beat Blackpool 3-0. Danny Coid scored an own goal for us after only 2 minutes and then Chris McPhee scored twice, in the 38th and 73rd minutes.

Oh yes.. and if I remember rightly there were around 6,483 of us there.
