We said our final goodbyes to Peter today.

A congregation of over 200 family and friends were in attendance with representatives from the Albion (past and present), local radio and media (especially his Radio Brighton days), and a large contingent from ITV Sport - all to pay their last respects.

His elder brother Alan led the tributes, followed by a wonderful, tear-soaked eulogy jointly from Ian Darke and Garry Richardson. Peter's son Ian finished the family tributes.

Stories, laughter, a few tears and more; in short, the perfect Brackers send-off.

I'm assuming the club will be doing something on Saturday...tribute in the program and before the match? Will be looking to pay my respects then

Just watched it online. Very moving and superbly put together by the clubs media guys. A lovely tribute.

What a wonderful tribute. He was obviously loved and respected by his fellow commentators.
