Keepers are usually pretty decent at pens as they just smash them, and I'm sure Maty would have been well up for it.

think i've seen penalties go round in a world/eufa cup final? it does happen and rule would be there.

I'd have LOVED IT if Maty Ryan smashed a penalty into the top corner, then saved Millwall's next one. Just imagine how much he'd celebrate then.

I've actually done this - two season back.

Level going to the fifth kicks. Curled it top bins (was actually going for the BOTTOM corner and got under it...), then stood my ground, as their guy smashed it straight at me.

It was a Southampton League cup QF, so its basically EXACTLY the same, right? :jester:
