67ao.

Presumably England had a game plan. We won the toss, we bowled them out for under 200 so that part of the job was done. You then bat conservatively for the next 5 sessions and don't give it away. Heads have got to roll here.

67 all out

Australia lead by 112 on first innings.

England's lowest score v Australia since 1948, and their lowest ever at Headingley. :nono:

They also believe their own hype as a result of the last few years of ODI.
Though interestingly, I don’t think Morgan would stand for this bollocks.

Some comments on the BBC website:

*At the Headingley it’s fancy dress day. Great to see a few in the middle masquerading as English batsmen.

Look on the Aussie balcony - they've got Waugh, Ponting and Langer, we've got Chris Silverwood. All our experienced Test match fighters are in the TMS and Sky boxes with their feet up criticising. Time they got their hands dirty?

What was the team talk at lunch time for England? The equivalent of 'keep it tight for the first 15 lads...'

A 112 run first innings deficit after bowling the opposition side out first for 179. Quite incredible.

The first time this series I’ve had time off from work set aside to watch some cricket and I get to watch this shambles.

Let's be positive...

1. Australia were 43-8 yesterday afternoon.
2. There's only been one partnership of any note at all in this entire test.

(They're going to put up 500-5 declared, aren't they?)
