Is our squad really that different from Southampton, Burnley or Crystal Palace. All of us would struggle to cope with some long term injuries and all of us will exhibit some amazing displays where we beat teams who should turn us over as well as being awful on some days and loosing to relegation certainties. Our squad is good enough to compete for the battle of surviving but how convincingly we survive is yet to be seen

Yep. There's some gaps. The club need to buy 2-3 more players this window . Can't imagine there's anyone either at the club (or realistically on here for that matter) that doesn't think that and isn't working to make it happen.
