A huge thanks to Tony Langridge, Woodingdean Gull and all the players as I have had the final monies confirmed. Tony spent weeks and great effort getting this arranged and the net profit was

£ 936

Considering last year we made a net profit of £ 68 its a huge achievement. What with a net profit of over £ 2000 from the Football in April, its been a record year.

Saw this thread about the golf day, well done with that, not only raising money but also awareness.

I was wondering how do golf days work, how do they make money?

I am involved with a small west Sussex football league club and we are looking to do a golf day to help raise money for the club, although I do play a little, I have not really been on a golf day as such.

Can anyone give me any advice please about golf days, how they work and how they make money for charities and clubs.
